August 2025 - Pilot study in Stuttgart

The time has finally come. The questionnaire has been completed, the measuring equipment is ready, and the weather is perfect. Now my Pilot study in public places Stuttgart. Based on the results, I will test the validity of my questionnaire and optimize the methodological approach for further field studies on the perception of acoustic environments.

July 2025 - Lecture at the HFT Summer School

I had the opportunity to attend this year’s Summer School the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences to present my research topic. The professional exchange with researchers from the fields of geoinformatics and urban planning was very enriching and promoted interdisciplinary collaboration.

May 2025 - Ready to go with new measuring equipment

I have just received my new measuring equipment from HEAD acoustics This allows me to capture acoustic environments in high quality and reproduce them realistically – just as we actually hear them. By promoting HEAD Genuit Foundation I have the necessary resources to carry out my research in a targeted manner.

April 2025 - USS 2025 in Zurich

I had the opportunity to Urban Sound Symposium 2025 This year, the conference took place at the EMPA near Zurich. The professional exchange with the most important experts in my research field of soundscapes was extremely enriching. The new ideas are helping me greatly in preparing my pilot study this summer.

March 2025 - DAS | DAGA Conference in Copenhagen

The annual conference of the German Society for Acoustics DAGA took place this year in Copenhagen in cooperation with the Danish Society for Acoustics (Dansk Akustisk Selskab). There, I was able to present my pilot study on reproducing the perception of acoustic environments (soundscapes) in group listening experiments. The results show promising similarities.
